Waiting for Godot....or Goddess

Ever have that one moment of clarity in a day, when suddenly you realize something that has been inconspicuously just out of sight, on the edge of your vision, but far enough that it never seemed to bother you that it was there...until now of course, as it moves center stage in a ker-flumpf?

I had that moment - and stared, and stared, and then hit myself in the forehead for not seeing it before.  How could this notion have remained, well, just a notion?  Have I really been that busy hustling and bustling in the rat race of life to not be paying attention to my surroundings?

As a being on a path who has embraced the role of student and teacher, I oftentimes find myself living up to the old adage of do as I say, not as I do.  And why am I not doing?  What's holding me back from moving forward?

A lesson, I would assume - and now that my "vision" has been restored thanks to the afore-mentioned ker-flumpf, what will I do about it?

It is so easy in our modern world to forget the rhythms of nature, and to forget that now is the time of infusing our dreams for the future - for planning and developing, thinking and musing, debating and creating.

Is that why my ker-flumpf hit me square in the noggin?  Because now is the time to plan, to dream, and to prepare?  (Ding Ding goes the bulb over my head)

Oy....finding the time and space to integrate nature's rhythms with the beat of the modern world can take practice, and patience...a LOT of patience....and a lot of practice.  What's the old joke - How do you get to Carnegie Hall? Practice, Practice, Practice.  Guess I have a bit of practicing to do myself before I can truly get to where I'm going.  How bout you?
